The GSLT Scholarship Application Scheme provides sponsorship to speech impaired applicants and persons with speech, language and communication needs (SLCN) to have access to qualify intervention programs in speech and language therapy.

To contribute to research and development of SLTs, and the provision of quality SLT services in Ghana, the Scheme also caters for member students, graduates and educators who have interest to train with higher educational training institutions to become speech, language, communication and developmental language experts for Ghana and Africa, as listed below, :

1. Speech and Language Therapists (SLTs),

2. Therapy Assistants (SLTa),

3. Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLDs)

4. Developmental Specialists for Inclusive Education (DSIE)
