Introduction

The GSLT’s publication, ‘Speech and Language Therapy: Your Career as a Health Professional’, contains information about what SLTs do, where they work, and how to go about becoming one. It has been designed with 18 to 25-year-olds in mind as well as mature individuals from 26 to 40-year-olds and aims to bust some of the myths about what it means to be an SLT.
